ALUMNAE CAKE & COFFEE SESSION 2026

Alhamdulillah, on 5th July 2026, Madrasah Al-Hikmah Lil Banaat successfully held our Alumnae Cake & Coffee Session.

One of the greatest hopes of the Madrasah is that the bond between the Madrasah and its alumnae does not end at graduation. Our students may leave the classroom, but they will always remain part of the Al-Hikmah family. This programme was organised out of our sincere concern for the wellbeing of our alumnae — their imaan, their emotional wellbeing, their family life, their studies, their careers, and the challenges they face in today’s world.

The session began with Qiraat, followed by heartfelt discussions with our asatizah. We spoke openly about the current issues many aalimahs encounter: maintaining istiqamah after leaving the Madrasah environment, balancing work and family responsibilities, dealing with social pressures, and remaining connected to Allah Taala amidst the busyness of life.

A special highlight of the programme was the session conducted by our founder, Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, who reminded us that every believer faces three constant enemies:

  1. Shaytan— who beautifies disobedience and creates doubts,
  2. The Nafs— which inclines towards comfort and desires,
  3. Society— whose pressures can gradually distance a person from their principles.

He shared practical ways to confront these challenges: strengthening our relationship with the Qur'an, keeping righteous company, and constantly renewing our intention for the sake of Allah.

Among the beautiful reminders shared by the asatizah was a message that deeply resonated with many of our alumnae:

Maintaining ikhlas does not mean that we always present perfect worship to Allah. Rather, ikhlas is to continue serving Allah Taala in every situation — in moments of strength and in moments of weakness.

This reminder was especially meaningful for those who feel discouraged by their imperfections. Allah does not ask from us a flawless servant; He asks from us a servant who repeatedly returns to Him with sincerity.

The warm atmosphere of coffee, cakes, conversations, laughter, and tears made the gathering truly memorable. We were also delighted to have a meaningful mug-exchange activity, which added a touch of joy and sisterhood to the day.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the organising committee, the asatizah, staff, volunteers, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this gathering a success. May Allah Taala abundantly reward every effort, accept it as a sincere deed for His sake, and place barakah in all those who contributed, whether through their time, service, or du'as.

We pray that this programme becomes the beginning of many more gatherings that strengthen the bond between our alumnae and the Madrasah, and more importantly, strengthen our bond with Allah Taala.

May Allah preserve our alumnae upon imaan, grant them righteous companionship, bless their future homes and families, and make them women who carry the light of Islam wherever they go.

Jazakumullah khairan kathiran. Taqabballahu minna wa minkum. Aameen.

SPORTS DAY 2026

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Our Annual Sports Day was successfully held, filling the day with excitement, laughter, determination, and wonderful displays of sportsmanship.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though there is goodness in both.”
(Sahih Muslim)

Inspired by this beautiful reminder, our Sports Day aims not only to encourage physical fitness but also to cultivate perseverance, discipline, teamwork, and good character—qualities that strengthen both the body and the soul.

Our students competed in four vibrant houses:
🍌 Yellow Bananarrific
🫐 Blue Berrilicious
🍒 Red Cherrybomb
🥝 Green Kiwi Krew

Every team competed with great enthusiasm and determination, while showing respect and encouragement to one another throughout the day.

A heartfelt congratulations to every participant for making this year’s Sports Day a memorable success. Special congratulations to our 2026 Sports Day Champions – The Red Team! 🏆

May Allah SWT bless our students with strong bodies, sound minds, steadfast hearts, and the ability to use these blessings in serving His Deen.
Ameen.

JAMUAN RAYA 1447/2026

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh,

What a celebration it was! ✨

In the spirit of Eid and with hearts still full from the blessings of Ramadan, our Jamuan Raya brought everyone together for a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

From a delicious spread of festive treats to exciting games and cheerful chatter, every corner was alive with energy. Smiles were everywhere as students connected, strengthened bonds, and simply enjoyed being in each other’s company.

Moments like these remind us that beyond the classroom, it is this sense of togetherness, care, and community that truly makes madrasah special.

A celebration like this would not have been possible without the amazing support, generosity, and contributions from our parents, staff, and students.

Jazaakumullahu khairan for being part of the joy — we can’t wait for the next one! 💫
